We are beginning a new sermon series in the book of 1 Timothy. Paul wrote his letter to Timothy, who he left in Ephesus, to help give order and oversight to the church there.  Throughout this short book, it is clear that the encouragement to teach sound doctrine, maintain right living, and hold to proper church structure are just as critical for us today as it was for them then.
